"Concern for others, no matter how sincere, does not by itself guarantee favorable development". — Dr. William Hall, Co-founder, NHRI
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, NHRI Leadership Mentoring relies on the generosity of alumni, friends, and supporters to continue developing leaders and strengthening relationships throughout Nebraska. Your contribution helps sustain programs that inspire personal growth, community engagement, and lifelong leadership development.
Investment Relationships
Since 1949, NHRI Leadership Mentoring has identified and developed the next generation’s top leaders. Through investment relationships with their leadership mentors, NHRI helps middle and high school leaders understand and use their leadership strengths to create a ripple effect of positive growth and development.
The founders of this organization, Dr. William Hall and Dr. Donald Clifton, were deliberate about using the term "investment" because they recognized that making a difference in people’s lives requires not just care, but investment in the development of others. NHRI teaches students that being a difference maker requires being an investor.
Why Give Now?
NHRI is in the midst of an exciting period of growth and productivity. With a director on the faculty, a permanent research director who publishes and presents mentoring research globally, and significant growth in the number of mentors and mentees, now is a great time to invest in NHRI.
As a nonprofit, NHRI relies on the support of its community to sustain and grow the program. Gifts to the various funds will secure the future of NHRI Leadership Mentoring and its important work in developing the next generation of leaders through one-to-one investment relationships. We thank you for your generous support of our mission!
