INVESTMENT RELATIONSHIPS
For nearly 70 years, the Nebraska Human Resources Institute (NHRI) has identified and developed the next generation’s top leaders. Working with hundreds of bright and talented school children and teens, NHRI has helped young leaders understand and use their leadership strengths to create a ripple effect of positive growth and development.
Counselors at NHRI are asked to build investment relationships with their junior counselors. The founders of this extraordinary resource, Dr. William Hall and Dr. Donald Clifton, were deliberate about using that phrase because they recognized that making a difference in people’s lives requires not just care, but investment in the development of others. NHRI teaches students that being a difference maker requires being an investor.
